SEAHO Legacy Fund LogoAbout the Legacy Fund

The SEAHO Legacy Fund, also known as the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers Endowment, was established in 2016 to honor its members and their service to the university and college student housing profession. The endowment recognizes the connection and long-standing history between SEAHO and ACUHO-I and how the two associations engage and develop professionals in the field. This endowment assists in funding professional development opportunities offered by ACUHO-I for members of the SEAHO region through annual award reimbursement(s).

Application Process

Complete the application to apply for support from the SEAHO Legacy Fund. The application process includes responding to application questions (250 words or less for each question). The application questions include:

  • Identify the ACUHO-I-sponsored learning experience you want to attend.
  • What do you hope to gain from this professional development experience?
  • How would this experience allow you to support the great work of SEAHO, your state, and/or institution?
  • Do you have funds through your institution that you can utilize to support your development? If so, how much?

The application is open from August 1 - November 1.  Applicants will be notified of the award decision no later than December 1. For specific questions related to the application process, email presidentelect@seaho.org
